The first step is to find out as much as I can about you and your background, the richness of your story and the journey behind your company so I can shape your story in the most compelling way possible.
We then need to define your communication goals, brand history, values and aspirations.
On top of this, it’s important for me to learn what your marketing objectives are and who your target audience is.
The next step is to review, refine the story arcs that will most effectively reach your goals.
The goal is to craft stories that will be most engaging to your target audience and will bring to the surface stories that your audiences are most likely to share, pass around and discuss.
We will discuss:
- Reasons for creating content and a vision of what success looks like for you
- Your goals for the content and unique value provided
- Your target audiences, their needs and interests.
- Your brand story: ideas and messages to communicate, what makes them unique, and reaction desired when shared with audience
I present a proposal and once approved by you, we start shooting. The shoots are uncomplicated; there’s no special lighting, no special make up – just a cinematographer and myself.
During the editing stage my editor and I cut down many hours of raw footage into a ‘rough cut’. The true magic of this process lies in the edit. I use a highly experienced documentary editors with years of visual story-telling experience.
When we have an initial version ready I post it privately online for your feedback. We then go through a final round of revisions until everyone is happy.
